Delete your account

Kanso Gratitude Journal is a daily gratitude journal by Make Your Own Space Limited. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open the app and sign in.
2. Tap the menu (⋮) on the home screen.
3. Choose Delete Account & All Data and confirm.

Deletion happens straight away.

Without the app

Email support@gratitude.you from the address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my Kanso account”. We'll confirm by reply and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in account.
• Every gratitude entry, with its date and place name.
• Every photo you attached.
• Your AI chat conversations, any responses you reported, and the details you saved for the AI (“Things my AI should know”).

Deleted data can't be recovered. Backup copies are overwritten within 30 days. Apart from a record that an account with your random user ID was deleted (used to stop your other devices re-uploading data), nothing is kept on our servers. Your phone keeps its own settings (theme, reminder time) and an offline copy of your journal until you uninstall the app.
